Our client, a specialized team of FileMaker development experts in Vancouver, Canada, is seeking a FileMaker automation specialist to develop and demonstrate advanced automation workflows using Claude (Anthropic) and Claris MCP. The team helps organizations design, build, and modernize custom business solutions - and they are actively investing in next-generation AI automation to bring even more value to our clients.

This is a project-based engagement focused on creating webinar-ready materials and a live working demonstration that showcases next-generation AI automation within FileMaker.

Employment Type: Fixed-term contract with potential long-term opportunity

Engagement Length: 4-6 weeks initial scope, with potential to extend

Work Schedule: 10-15 hours per week. At least 3 hours of daily overlap with Pacific Time, Monday to Friday

Location: Remote

What You'll Do:

- A skilled presentation deck for a FileMaker automation webinar.
- A working FileMaker solution demonstrating Claude and Claris MCP automation.
- A detailed step-by-step demo script suitable for presentation and training purposes.

Deliverables:

- A polished presentation deck for the FileMaker automation webinar.
- A working FileMaker solution file demonstrating Claude + Claris MCP automation.
- A step-by-step demo script suitable for live presentation and training.
- A recorded walkthrough (Loom or similar) of the working solution.

Requirements

Must Have:

- We’re looking for someone with hands-on experience in: Claris FileMaker, Claude (Anthropic),



and Claris MCP (Model Context Protocol).
- Demonstrated experience building real-world Claude + Claris MCP integrations.
- Strong FileMaker scripting and automation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Experience designing AI-assisted workflows and business process automations.
- Ability to work independently and deliver within a tight timeline.

Nice-to-Have:

- FileMaker certification.
- Webinar, training, or technical presentation experience.
- Experience creating demo environments and instructional materials.
- Experience with API integrations and AI-enabled workflows.

Security & Compliance (Mandatory)

You will work on large-scale projects for clients in the public sector, so before accessing any client system you must complete a criminal record check and FOIPPA privacy training, and work on a machine running NinjaOne (for IT management) and SentinelOne (for endpoint security). These checks and tools are firm requirements.
