Job Details

Full-time

Days shift - 6 days a week

$17.60 per hour, No overtime

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Harvest fruits/vegetables using hand tools

Sort, weigh and pack fruit/vegetables at the farm

Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery

Crop work including; deleafing, stringing, lowering, pruning

Monitor plants problems such as diseases, weeds, insect pests and report to supervisor.

Inspect product prior to packaging, and ensure that quality specifications are meet on the final product

Follow procedures to report any incidents at work

Report quality or crop issues to labour supervisor

Follow all company policies

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Understand and follow information presented through spoken words and sentences by supervisor





Communicate any issues or concerns to supervisor

No education required

Physical Abilities

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

Must be able to bend, stretch, twist or reach with body, arms and/or legs

Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy material (i.e. up to 23 kg/50 lbs.)

Work in a changing temperature environment
