Become an Imagery Technician and specialize in visual media for the Canadian Armed Forces. This role involves operating advanced imaging equipment, capturing stills and videos, and supporting military operations. As an Imagery Technician in the CAF, you will use high-tech imaging tools including infrared and thermal equipment to produce impactful images and videos.
Your responsibilities will involve cataloging and enhancing images, performing quality control, and maintaining critical equipment for public affairs and investigations. Key Responsibilities:
- Produce still and video imagery for military purposes
- Operate infrared and thermal imaging equipment
- Download and manage image data for analysis
- Catalogue and retrieve imagery from a database
- Test new imaging equipment and technology Requirements:
- Completion of Grade 12 or Secondary V in Quebec
- A college diploma is preferred
- Successful completion of Basic Military Qualification training
- Ability to work in diverse environments
