Join the estimating team at Oakridge Landscape Contractors! We are looking for a Junior Estimator with a passion for precision to assist in bidding commercial, municipal, and private landscape construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the Chief Estimator to gather bid documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and calculate costs for labor, equipment, and materials.
- Request and analyze pricing from suppliers and subtrades.
- Maintain organized project files, addendums, and master tracking sheets.
- Conduct site visits to assess field conditions against proposed plans.
- Communicate effectively with site Superintendents and project teams.

Qualifications:

- 1–2 years of estimating experience in landscape, civil,



or general construction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reading construction blueprints/specs.
- Post-secondary education in Civil/Construction Engineering Technology or Landscape Architecture (asset).
- CIQS designation is an asset.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
- Motivated, detail-oriented team player who thrives under tight deadlines.
