Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically skilled professional who enjoys troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Shifts available: Continental Days or Days/Afternoons- Monday to Friday
Salary: 50$/h ++

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical-related equipment issues.
- Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs quickly and effectively to minimize production downtime.
- Install, align, level, and commission recent machinery and production equipment.
- Perform equipment rebuilds, modifications, and mechanical installations.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
- Conduct inspections and identify potential equipment issues before failures occur.
- Complete welding, fabrication, machining, and other mechanical repairs as required.
- Lubricate machinery and maintain equipment according to established maintenance schedules.
- Assist with equipment moves, installations, and plant improvement projects.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to prioritize equipment repairs and minimize downtime.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to health and safety, lockout/tagout, and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) license is preferred/required.
- 3+ years of experience working as a Millwright in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, motors, and other industrial equipment.
- Welding and fabrication experience is an asset.
- Electrical troubleshooting experience is an asset.
- Strong understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a maintenance team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety.
