Experience
- One year experience in community needs assessment/development/health promotion
- 3 years experience as an RN in primary care, public health or acute care
Education
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Registered Nurse (RN)
Other Education and Training
- Registered/eligible for registration with CRNS as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Ability to maintain current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with CRNS
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)

- Demonstrates leadership, confidence and autonomy in the RN (NP) role
- Knowledge in individual assessment and counselling skills
- Demonstrate responsible decision-making supported by solid critical thinking

- Knowledge in population and public health concepts
- Demonstrated knowledge of teaching abilities & group facilitation skills
- Demonstrates ability to accept and implement change
- Demonstrates capacity to plan, implement and evaluate multiple assessments
- Demonstrates empathy, trust and respect in the provision of care
- Ability to apply methods and principles of nursing process
- Knowledge in the principles of Population Health Promotion
- Demonstrates ability to assess the community for primary care needs.
- Knowledge of common medical conditions and treatments.
- Ability to provide holistic care to individuals,families & the community
- Demonstrates ability in verbal and non-verbal communication techniques
- Demonstrates ability to show initiative and self-direction

- Travel allowance is provided.
- Travel required to various community sites within Regina PHC Networks
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)

- This is a community based position providing services in clinic within the Primary Health Care Networks (Regina)
and can be assigned to one of the primary Health Care Network. Home base for this position is: 2180 Victoria Ave. E.
