OpenTrain is seeking a Revenue Operations AI Task Author to create and calibrate expert tasks used to train and evaluate advanced AI agents. You will translate practical RevOps and SalesOps knowledge into realistic scenarios involving CRM records, orders, communications, fulfillment, bookings, and recognized revenue.

The role combines operational judgment with the discipline of making every task objectively gradable.



You will work with business workflows and data to create challenges that have precise, verifiable standards for correctness.

Create enterprise AI tasks based on authentic Revenue Operations scenarios

Combine operational knowledge with structured evaluation criteria

Work 20 or more hours per week as a part-time contractor

What You’ll Do

You will author realistic prompts based on bookings reconciliation, account discrepancies, fulfillment status, and recognized revenue. You will write scoring rubrics that define precise, verifiable criteria for correct answers and configure task environments that reflect business systems used in real enterprise workflows.

You will solve tasks yourself to validate their soundness and the accuracy of each rubric. You will test tasks against AI models and refine complexity, ambiguity, or workflow steps until the intended challenge level is reached. You will also review and correct AI-drafted prompts and rubrics when needed.

Write prompts involving bookings, accounts, fulfillment, and recognized revenue

Create scoring rubrics with objectively verifiable correctness criteria

Configure task environments that reflect enterprise workflows

Solve tasks to validate their design and scoring

Test tasks against AI models and calibrate their difficulty

Review and correct AI-generated prompts and rubrics





Required Qualifications

You should have hands-on experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or a closely related enterprise function, including experience in an industrial or enterprise workplace. Strong familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce is required, along with the ability to query and interpret account and bookings data.

You should understand bookings, fulfillment pipelines, and revenue recognition concepts. You must be able to establish correctness standards that can be checked rather than relying only on general judgment.

Revenue Operations or Sales Operations experience

CRM and Salesforce proficiency

Ability to query and interpret account and bookings data

Practical knowledge of bookings and fulfillment pipelines

Understanding of revenue recognition concepts

Ability to create precise, objectively verifiable scoring criteria

Helpful Background

Experience training or evaluating AI tools in a sales or revenue context is useful.

Experience in enterprise B2B environments with complex deal structures is also helpful.

You should be comfortable explaining how domain expertise can become a challenging but objectively gradable AI task. Comfort working across email, chat, dashboards, and other business communication tools is important, as is an iterative approach to testing, refinement, and calibration.
