Become a Support Worker at SaskAbilities in Saskatoon, enhancing the lives of adults in our Quality of Life Day Program. This full-time, temporary position lasts until December 31, 2026. In this role, you'll provide assistance to adults with disabilities, facilitating both on-site and community-based activities.
You'll cultivate a safe, engaging atmosphere, help with personal care, and maintain documentation for our participants. Teamwork and independent work capabilities are crucial. Key Responsibilities:
- Support participants in community and facility activities
- Document daily activities and maintain program files
- Assist individuals with personal care needs
- Drive clients to community events using personal vehicle
- Create a fun and interactive setting for all participants Requirements:
- Disability or Rehabilitation Support Worker Certification
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License with reliable transportation
- First Aid/CPR/AED Certification or intent to secure
- Minimum one year of relevant work experience
