Your OpportunityIn accordance with LOU #7, Teaching Assistants and Laboratory Demonstrators, employees are hired to assist in the Learning Center as peer tutors, employed to perform work which falls under the jurisdiction of the support staff bargaining unit. Employees hired as peer tutors will perform work not normally covered by an existing classification of this bargaining unit.

Functions and Duties Under supervision of the College Professor will perform the following duties:

1. Support the migration of courses from Moodle to Brightspace.
2. Review and compare existing course Moodle shells against migrated courses in Brightspace using a checklists provided by the Teaching and Learning Innovation (TLI) team.
3. Flag inconsistencies and help resolve minor technical issues before the next stage of the course migration process.
4. Assist with on-boarding faculty and students to the new system.
5. Performs other related duties similar in scope, as assigned.

Education and Experience Must be currently enrolled and have completed at least 48 credits in a Business Administration program, preferably in the degree program with a strong grasp on the subject matter in their program. Must have a minimum Grade Point Average of 75% prior to and during the contract term.
