Join CMHA-Edmonton as a Supportive Building Liaison, promoting safety and community among tenants at a residential facility. Ensure compliance with regulations for effective property management. As a Building Liaison, you will interact directly with tenants to uphold building rules under the Residential Tenancies Act. This part-time on-site position emphasizes relationship-building and communication, while helping to address tenant issues as they arise.
Your role is vital in fostering a safe and trusting environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist tenants with adherence to building policies
- Maintain open communication with the Manager
- Report tenant behavior changes to management
- Participate in the mediation of tenant disputes
- Keep incident records and maintain safety protocols Requirements:
- At least Grade 12, with social services education preferred
- Relevant experience in mental health support
- Understanding of tenancy laws
- Current Police Information Check necessary
- Certifications in First Aid and Mental Health First Aid required Develop solid community ties while ensuring tenant safety and support with CMHA-Edmonton.
