For Every Tomorrow

Canada

For Every Tomorrow is a British Columbia-based nonprofit focused on mental health and addiction through education, awareness, storytelling, and community-based initiatives.

As we expand our programs and build the organization, we are looking for Volunteer Fundraising & Development Coordinators, with a strong preference for applicants located in British Columbia, to join our growing team.

This role is an opportunity to help build For Every Tomorrow’s fundraising capacity from the ground up. You’ll work alongside other volunteers to identify funding opportunities, develop fundraising initiatives, and help create the financial foundation needed to support our programs and future growth.

What you’ll do

- Research grants, funding programs, sponsorship opportunities, and other potential sources of support, particularly within British Columbia
- Identify prospective donors, corporate sponsors, foundations, businesses, and community funding opportunities
- Assist with drafting grant applications, sponsorship proposals, outreach materials, and fundraising communications
- Help develop and execute fundraising campaigns and initiatives
- Research potential in-kind contributions and other forms of organizational support
- Maintain organized records of prospects, applications, outreach, deadlines, and follow-ups
- Collaborate with our Partnerships & Outreach team where fundraising and relationship-building overlap
- Contribute ideas for sustainable fundraising and development strategies
- Participate in regular virtual team meetings and provide updates on ongoing work

Who we’re looking forApplicants located in British Columbia are strongly preferred, as much of our fundraising and development work will focus on building support within the province and identifying opportunities relevant to a BC-based nonprofit. Previous professional fundraising experience is not required. We welcome applicants with experience or interest in fundraising, grant or proposal writing, research, sponsorships, business development, communications, community outreach, nonprofit work, or related areas.

We’re particularly looking for people who are:

- Strong written communicators
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable conducting independent research
- Professional when communicating with external organizations
- Proactive and willing to take initiative
- Reliable in a remote, collaborative environment
- Interested in mental health, addiction, nonprofit work, or community impact

Students, recent graduates, and professionals are welcome to apply. CommitmentThis is a remote volunteer position. Team members should be able to contribute each week consistently and participate in regular virtual team meetings. Most work can be completed asynchronously around existing schedules.

Why join For Every Tomorrow? You’ll be joining For Every Tomorrow during an important stage of its growth and will have the prospect to help shape our fundraising and development work from the beginning.

Rather than stepping into an established fundraising system, you’ll help build one while supporting the long-term sustainability of our mental health and addiction initiatives.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
