The Vice President of Technology oversees the SSU website and ensures it operates smoothly for booking, payment, and data tracking. They’ll collaborate with the Website Development Coordinator and ensure technical processes align with SSU’s rental operations.

Time CommitmentTypically 5 hours per week, up to 10 hours per week in September

Term of EmploymentAugust 2026 - April 2027

Main Responsibilities

- Maintain and update the SSU website and its functions
- Ensure rental, payment, and inventory flows work correctly
- Support the team by resolving technical bugs or issues
- Oversee the Website Development Coordinator

Qualifications

- Technical proficiency in website platforms (ex. Shopify)
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Explicit communicator across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience with coding or site integrations is a plus





Anticipated Learning OutcomesThis role provides hands-on experience in technical problem-solving, web operations, and systems coordination in a student-run service.
