This role engages a knowledgeable Financial Accountant who assists in developing budgetary frameworks and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Key responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, handling reconciliations, and monitoring expenditures.

You will collaborate with ministry staff to solve accounting issues and contribute to year-end audits.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop budgets for ministries and departments
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor funding agreements and receivables
- Assist with ad hoc reports and reconciliations
- Maintain the integrity of accounting records

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management or Accounting
- Minimum four years of related experience
- Eligible for CPA Qualified Education Program
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s license
