This role reports to the City Solicitor and requires 3-5 years of experience in contract negotiation and drafting. A Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor is essential, alongside solid communication, leadership, and analytical skills. Engage with Senior Management and City Council to navigate housing-related and other legal matters effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Negotiate and draft contracts and agreements
- Provide legal advice on various municipal matters
- Review and prepare policy and procedural documents
- Develop proactive strategies to minimize legal risks
- Assist in implementing preventative law programs

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Laws degree or Juris Doctor
- 3-5 years in contract negotiation experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office software
