Act as a key team member to our manufacturing operation, offering technical expertiseRead, interpret and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other instructions or procedures to accurately fabricate and assemble materials and equipment.Position, bolt, screw, clip, adjust or fasten parts and components together using hand, power tools, and equipmentMount electrical components, including circuit breakers, switches, transformers,



relays, contactors, terminals, input/output devices and/or all other related switchgear electrical devices.Layout and frame enclosures.Drilling, tapping, punching, mounting and installing bus bar sections per drawings or instructions.Following ISO 9001 standards, practicing 5S and LEAN manufacturing StandardsReading and interpreting technical drawings and schematicsWork in a secure, clean, systematic manner working to C.S.A, and company quality requirementsTraining ProvidedRequirements
Previous experience with electrical and/or mechanical with strong analytical skillsExperience or training in mechanical/ industrial assembly is considered an assetExperience with power tools – jig saws, grinders, pneumatic tools, cuttersComprehension of wires sizes and corresponding carrying capacityPhysically fit;
ability to lift 30 lbs.Ability to work independently with minimum supervisionMust be adaptable, highly motivated, organized & show attention to detailsExcellent work ethicManual dexterityHand-eye coordinationTeam playerFamiliarity with and own basic toolsCompletely and efficiently handle any assigned job with minimal supervisionAble to recommend, advise and execute improvements to the production process (techniques, tools, panel layout, materials, etc.)Work Environment:
The job of an assembler requires repetitive motions all the time, lifting, squatting, kneeling, bending, walking, torquing, pulling, carrying, pulling, crouching, backward positions,
