Flynn is the Leading Building Envelope Commercial Contractor in North America, with 6000+ employees and 38 branches. The Project Manager works with an amazing team in our Commercial Roofing Division and supporting a wide array of projects and customers.A Day In The Life
Works with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authorityDirects and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budgetReviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as requiredPrepares project reports for management, client, or othersWorks with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problemsCoordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agenciesReview all aspects of a new order including desk order, estimate, pre-plan informationChair and supervise post award meetings for informed transition from sales to operationsCommunicate all aspects of job status i.E. extras, schedule delays etc. with clientNegotiate extras for all applicable revisions and prepare necessary documentation (internal and external)Co-ordinate issuance of all contracts or purchase orders to subcontractorsSub-out installation, when deemed necessary, in conjunction with area supervisorsCo-ordinate the investigation and resolution of disputes, defects, and back chargesAttend jobsite meetings including final inspections,



where possible or necessaryMonitor and approve subcontract invoicesApprove close out of projects and ensure all invoices have been issuedObtain monthly man hour forecast from are supervisor and prepare man hour backlog reportObtain percentage complete on each project for month end billing and reportingWhat We Are Seeking
5+ years in Commercial RoofingExperience with re-roofing and Current ConstructionExperience with Retail, Hospitals, Schools, office buildings, etcTechnically savvy with softwareStrong Customer Service skills / Positive Communication skillsProven skills to manage multiple projects =simultaneouslyExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, plans and specificationsKnowledge of Building codes and safety regulationsValid Driver’s licenseWhat We Offer
