Qualifications

- Graduate of a recognized school of Respiratory Therapy
- Registered with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NPR certifications
- Proficient in adult intubation and arterial line insertion
- Ability to perform cardiac non-invasive testing, critical care and routine therapy, pulmonary function testing, and arterial punctures
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, nursing staff, physicians and patients
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Professional discretion and judgment relative to patient care
- Satisfactory attendance for internal candidates
- Commitment to Patient Care & Safety and Service Excellence
- Satisfactory vulnerable person’s sector criminal background check

Salary Range: $39.50-$54.88/hour
