ACADEMIC RESPIROLOGIST
Department of Medicine, McMaster University The Department of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University and Hamilton Health Sciences invite applications for an Academic Respirologist with a focus in Cystic Fibrosis and Bronchiectasis. Preference will be given to candidates who will have completed two years of fellowship training in Respirology with further formal training in Cystic Fibrosis and Bronchiectasis . The successful candidate will contribute to the Cystic Fibrosis regional clinic at McMaster University Health Centre, hold specialized clinics in Bronchiectasis and be expected to contribute to the development of databases in both areas with opportunities to advance research.
The successful candidate will also contribute to covering 6-8 weeks per year of the consultant service at Juravinski Hospital.
This is a full-time faculty position for a period of three years (renewable). Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
The successful candidate will be a full-time member of the Division of Respirology and will be expected to contribute to the academic mission of the Faculty and Division. The successful candidate should have appropriate fellowship training and will be expected to fully participate in all appropriate departmental and divisional educational activities
