At Liftex, we help customers keep their projects moving through reliable aerial lift and material handling equipment solutions. We're looking for a customer-focused Account Manager to join our Edmonton team. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, developing new business, and helping customers find the right rental, sales, service, and merchandise solutions.

What You Will Do

- As an Account Manager, you'll play a key role in driving rental revenue, equipment and merchandise sales, customer account growth, and long-term customer relationships within an assigned territory. You'll work closely with Inside Sales, Operations, Service, Dispatch, and branch teams to support customer success and business growth.
- Develop and execute territory plans to grow rental revenue, equipment sales, merchandise sales, new accounts, and repeat customer business.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, ensuring consistent communication, timely follow-up, and reliable service support.
- Secure new rental and merchandise customers through jobsite visits, prospecting calls, customer outreach, and relationship-building activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across construction, industrial, commercial, and related customer sectors.
- Promote rental equipment, current equipment sales, used equipment sales, merchandise, and value-added solutions that align with customer needs.
- Achieve assigned weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets.




- Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, customer needs, and territory trends.
- Maintain pipeline discipline through CRM updates, activity tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
- Collaborate with Inside Sales, Operations, Service, and branch teams to support customer requirements.
- Participate in promotional activities, customer events, and revenue growth initiatives.
- Follow company safety protocols, PPE expectations, safe driving practices, and jobsite conduct requirements.

Qualifications

Required

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education, sales experience, and industry knowledge preferred.
- Proven experience in business development, account management, customer retention, project management, or outside sales.




- Knowledge of material handling and aerial equipment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, customer service, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency with standard computer applications and sales tracking systems.
- Ability to travel within an assigned territory.
- Valid driver's licence and safe driving record.
- Ability to work legally in Canada.

Preferred

- Experience in equipment rental, construction, industrial sales, commercial sales, or related field sales environments.
- Experience working with CRM, rental, sales, or pipeline tracking systems.
- Knowledge of used equipment sales, new equipment sales, fleet utilization, and rental contracts.
- Additional sales, equipment, safety, or leadership training.
