Burnaby Lake Physical Therapy is a new, modern, performance-focused multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic located in Burnaby, BC. We are looking for a motivated and passionate Acupuncturist to join our multidisciplinary practice on a full time or part-time independent contractor basis.

We are creating a clinic where practitioners have the space, equipment, flexibility, and support to provide high-quality one-on-one care while developing their own clinical practice.

Our approach combines hands-on care, rehabilitation, exercise, and complementary treatment approaches to help clients recover from injury, manage pain, improve function, and return to the activities they enjoy.

As a multidisciplinary practice, we believe collaboration between healthcare professionals can provide patients with a more comprehensive approach to recovery and long-term health.

What You'll Do

As an Acupuncturist, you will:

- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
- Identify appropriate treatment goals based on patient history, presentation, and individual needs
- Develop individualized acupuncture treatment plans
- Provide acupuncture treatments within your professional scope of practice
- Treat a variety of musculoskeletal and pain-related conditions
- Support patients recovering from sports and orthopedic injuries
- Provide acupuncture as part of comprehensive pain management and rehabilitation programs
- Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, RMTs,



and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients regarding treatment, recovery, and appropriate self-care strategies
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Provide professional, compassionate, and patient-centered care
- Build strong, long-term relationships with patients
- Communicate effectively with other practitioners when collaborative care is appropriate

- Interested in building and developing their own patient caseload
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

- Valid registration as an Acupuncturist in British Columbia
