Job Summary

Join our vibrant educational team as an After School Program Leader, where you will inspire and engage children through dynamic learning activities and enriching experiences. In this role, you will oversee daily program operations, foster a safe and inclusive workplace, and support children's academic and social development. Duties

- Lead engaging tutoring sessions to reinforce classroom learning in subjects such as math, reading, and science
- Develop and implement fun, educational activities that promote social skills, teamwork, and problem-solving
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety and well-being at all times
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and community partners to support each child's individual needs
- Maintain a clean, organized environment conducive to learning and play
- Monitor attendance, behavior, and progress of participants to ensure a positive program experience




- Assist with planning special events or themed activities that enhance the after-school curriculum

Requirements

- Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings
- Strong background in tutoring or teaching across various subjects
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Excellent communication skills to connect with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with energy and enthusiasm
- Reliable transportation or access to reliable transportation is preferred
- Certifications in first aid or CPR are a plus but not required; training can be provided
