Duties

- Feed, water, and monitor animals to ensure their health and comfort throughout each shift
- Extensive daily cleaning and sanitation, to maintain high hygiene standards
- Assist with handling and socialization of animals to promote positive behavior
- Perform basic health checks and medication administration as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by answering phones, visitor questions, performing adoptions, paperwork,



working alongside local vet clinics for appointments
- Observe animal behavior for signs of illness or distress and report findings promptly

Skills

- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various environments, as well as physically able to work in a faced past workplace
- Compassionate attitude toward animals and a genuine interest in their well-being
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and visitors
- Attention to detail in cleaning, record keeping, and observing animal health
- Ability to follow safety protocols consistently in a fast-paced setting
- Must have flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
