Job Requirements
- Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) certification required
- Fall Arrest and Elevated Work Platform certifications preferred but not mandatory
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Solid understanding of electrical systems with proficiency in tools and testing equipment; mechanically inclined with conduit bending experience considered an asset
- Physically capable of performing trade duties,
including working at heights and on ladders/aerial platforms; well-organized with strong attention to detail and workmanship
Commercial Electrical Supervisor Key Responsibilities
- Supervise site electrical staff and coordinate daily activities for project installations
- Ensure work is completed in compliance with applicable building and electrical codes
- Design electrical systems and circuits
- Inspect project electrical equipment and support quality control on site, as well as maintain accurate and up-to-date drawings.
- Forecast weekly and monthly manpower & material requirements
- Identify staff training needs and support crew development
Action Electrical offers: Competitive Wages – Journeyperson base rate of $40.00/hr.
- 2nd year - $24/hr. + Vacation/General holiday pay + Benefit Plan + Optional RRSP Matching Program + Paid Birthday Day Off = Total Approx. Compensation $27.81
- 3rd year - $28/hr. + Vacation/General holiday pay + Benefit Plan + Optional RRSP Matching Program + Paid Birthday Day Off = Total Approx. Compensation $32.21
- 4th year - $32/hr. + Vacation/General holiday pay + Benefit Plan + Optional RRSP Matching Program + Paid Birthday Day Off = Total Approx. Compensation $36.61
- Journeyperson - $40/hr. + Vacation/General holiday pay + Benefit Plan + Options RRSP Matching Program + Paid Birthday Day Off = Total Approx. Compensation $45.94 **Note that total compensation including base rate will be based on experience
