Duties

- Assist experienced bricklayers with laying bricks, blocks, and stone according to schematics and blueprints
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely under supervision
- Prepare construction sites by mixing mortar, cleaning surfaces, and setting up scaffolding or safety barriers
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to support masonry work
- Support renovation and restoration projects by removing old materials and preparing surfaces for new masonry work
- Perform general labour tasks such as lifting materials,



cleaning work areas, and assisting with material deliveries
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all activities to ensure a secure working environment

Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction practices is preferred but not required—training will be provided!
- Previous construction experience or familiarity with masonry is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Ability to read schematics or blueprints will be advantageous for understanding project requirements
- Willingness to operate heavy equipment safely after proper instruction
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, teamwork, and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
