To support our strong commercial growth ambitions in Western Canada, we are looking for an Area Manager: an ambitious, energetic and commercially driven qualified with a passion for agricultural technology who wants to help further develop the success of Tolsma-Grisnich in Western Canada.

Tolsma-Grinisch: feeding the world with our technology

· Responsible for sales across Western Canada, including British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

· Responsible for acquiring new customers and developing new markets, while also maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.

· Manage the day-to-day operations of the Tolsma-Grisnich office in Lethbridge, including:

o Managing the installation crew based in Lethbridge.

o Maintaining close communication with our headquarters in the Netherlands regarding shipments, service and all other activities required to provide the best solutions for our customers.

o Supporting project management and the day-to-day operations of new projects.

· Provide local support for existing customers by phone and remotely through our storage computer systems, during the storage and grading season while they are using Tolsma-Grisnich equipment.

· Promote our new and improved products to existing and potential customers, including during demonstration days.

· Attend agricultural trade shows and other commercial events.

Job requirements





· Customer-focused mindset with a good understanding of farmers and their needs.

· Energetic, independent and proactive, with a hands-on attitude.

· Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Dutch is an asset.

· Educational or professional background in agriculture, sales or a related commercial field, with a strong technical affinity.

· Experience working in a technical and/or agricultural environment.

· Strong relationship-building skills with excellent attention to detail.

· Well organized and structured, with the ability and willingness to lead a team.

· Willingness to travel frequently throughout Western Canada.
