Area Operations

Manager will ensure the safe, effective, and reliable execution of propane delivery and service across Districts, including ancillary business lines. The candidate selected for this role must be willing and within a reasonable distance to commute to various site locations in SW Ontario. Align with peers and leadership on the execution of strategic initiatives as directed by the Operations Leader.

Focus on frontline execution, with strategic planning, routing, scheduling, and workforce planning centralized in other functions.

Field Workforce Management

Lead, coach, and develop field teams, ensuring productivity, compliance, and safety. Provide input to centralized workforce planning and enforce efficiency programs (e.g.,



overtime control, idle-time, fuel cost, route adherence). Foster a high-performance culture and build a robust succession pipeline.

Ensure route and schedule compliance, minimize customer churn, and manage seasonal labour capacity. Collaborate with Commercial teams to address customer feedback and issue resolution. Manage propane and parts inventory at the field level and report variances.

Liaise with Logistics, Network/Fleet/Service, HSE and other Corporate Functions (i.e. Monitor and enforce KPIs, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Promote a culture of safety and regulatory compliance.

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in relevant field, preferred fields are Operations Management, Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety Leadership. 5+ years of relevant experience required, 10+ years of relevant experience preferred.
