Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Asphalt Paving Equipment Operator Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in asphalt paving and/or grading operating or managing various types of heavy machinery with a focus on paving and will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operation on job sites. This role is essential for the successful completion of projects, requiring both technical expertise and a commitment to safety.

Duties Asphalt Paving Focused

- Operate heavy equipment such as asphalt spreader/paver, roller(s), skid steers, loaders, backhoes, and bulldozers to perform tasks including digging, lifting, and moving materials.
- Ensure schedules are met and/or exceeded.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate operations and achieve project goals efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report any issues or malfunctions promptly.

Skills





- Proficient in SPREADER operation
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation with experience in asphalt paver, roller(s), skid steer an asset.
- Robust mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on machinery.
- Ability to dig and move materials effectively while maintaining precision in operations.
- Commercial driving skills are a plus for transporting equipment when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.
- A strong focus on safety practices in all aspects of work.

Pay: $24.48-$39.53 per hour

- Asphalt: 2 years (required)
