Your Main Missions Will Be Production Management & On-Time Performance
- Supervise daily tray-assembly line operations to match flight schedules and last-minute passenger count changes (Passenger Load Updates).
- Optimize assembly workflows and line balancing to maximize productivity, minimize waste, and meet strict dispatch deadlines (On-Time Delivery).
- Coordinate closely with the Hot/Cold Kitchen and Equipment Packing departments to guarantee a steady supply of meal components and clean gear.
Team Leadership & Operational Excellence
- Manage, coach, and develop assembly supervisors, line leaders, and production operators.
- Plan staffing schedules, manage labor budgets, and adjust headcount based on seasonal flight volume fluctuations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Lean Manufacturing) to optimize space, ergonomically organize assembly stations, and reduce errors.
Quality Control & Airline Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to airline-specific menu build sheets, photo specs, and special meal requirements (e.g., Halal, Kosher, Allergen-free).
- Conduct regular quality audits on assembled trays prior to dispatch (portioning, visual presentation, item completeness).
- Oversee cold-chain management during assembly, ensuring target food temperatures are maintained throughout the process.
HACCP, Health & Safety
- Enforce food safety protocols, hygiene rules, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements across all assembly lines.
- Maintain complete operational logs for temperature tracking, traceability, and customer quality audits.

Profile
- Education and/or expertise in the food industry
- Knowledge of airline catering is a real asset.
- Experience in management or production operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure
- Hands-on and detail-oriented mindset
- Good communication and teamwork skills
