Storm Brewing is looking for a part-time Assistant Brewer to join our small, friendly, and hardworking crew.

We’re a local, independent brewery making beer our own way, and we’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty! This is a physical, hands-on role that covers everything from cleaning and filling kegs to canning, deliveries, helping out on brew days and making every guest feel welcome and at home. Everybody who works at Storm does a little bit of everything so a positive attitude is an absolute must.

The Details

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Part-time, 16–24 hours per week

Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, with shifts scheduled between 9am–6pm

Pay: $20–$22/hour

What You’ll Be Doing

- Cleaning and filling kegs
- Canning and packaging beer
- Cleaning tanks and other brewery equipment
- Transferring finished beer
- Assisting the Head Brewer on brew days
- Making local deliveries once or twice a week
- Helping with retail service, including pouring beers and processing payments
- Pitching in with the day-to-day work that keeps a small brewery running

What We’re Looking For You don’t need to know everything about brewing, but you do need to be reliable, friendly, hardworking, comfortable with physical work,



and able to check any ego at the door.

You must

- Have a valid Serving It Right certificate
- Have a valid driver’s licence
- Be able to safely lift up to 25 kg throughout the workday
- Be comfortable working in a physical brewery environment
- Be available Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
- Be dependable and able to work well as part of a small team

Previous brewery, production, warehouse, hospitality, or similar hands-on experience is an asset, but we’re also happy to hear from someone who is genuinely interested in brewing and eager to learn.
