Compensation Range: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 range per year.

THE IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:
Reporting to the Controller, the Assistant Controller plays an key role in supporting NDI’s financial performance through financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to broaden your financial and operational expertise, partner across the business, and gain greater exposure to financial planning, reporting, and decision-making.
HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:
- Assist in preparing accurate financial statements and management reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for consolidated financial reporting.
- Support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Provide guidance to Finance team members on accounting guidelines, processes, and best practices.
- Coordinate documentation and support for internal and external audits.
- Coordinate corporate insurance renewals and related communications.
- Support Finance projects and process improvements, including automation and new system implementations.
- Partner with Manufacturing Operations, Purchasing, Customer Experience, and R&D; to support business and financial objectives.
- Support compliance by adhering to applicable regulatory and quality standards, ensuring product integrity and patient safety in a global medical device environment.
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- CPA designation required.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
ADDITIONAL STRENGTHS:
- Budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Experience with internal controls, audits, and financial reporting.
- ERP implementation, process improvement, or financial automation experience.
- Strong cross-functional business partnering and experience supporting Finance team members.
- Corporate tax knowledge is an asset.
