About the Company:

Participants will complete a remote audio data collection task : Canadian French

About the Role:

Using the TELUS data collection app, participants will record 66 audio utterances.

Responsibilities:

- 18 wake word recordings – 6 wake words, each recorded at 3 speaking speeds: slow, medium, and rapid.
- 24 positive test utterances – 4 positive utterances for each of the 6 wake words.
- 24 negative test utterances – 4 negative utterances for each of the 6 wake words.
- Use their mobile phone’s built-in microphone and complete the recordings in a quiet indoor environment with minimal background noise and reverberation.
- Follow the on-screen prompts, maintain the specified speaking speeds for wake word recordings, and review and upload each recording through the app.

Qualifications:



The complete recording session is expected to take up to 1 hour per participant.

Required Skills:

- Ability to follow instructions and maintain specified speaking speeds.
- Access to a mobile phone with a built-in microphone.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with audio recording tasks.

Pay range and compensation package:

- Canadian French (frCA): $50.00

Compensation will be provided upon successful completion of the required tasks and client acceptance of the submitted recordings through the applicable quality review process.
