Employment Status: Full-Time
Dealership: NewRoads Honda, a division of OpenRoad Auto
Department: Sales
Compensation: $120,000 - $170,000/year

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and consistently achieve sales objectives by effectively presenting and selling finance and protection products, including protection packages, extended warranties, GAP, WALKAWAY, and other available products;
- Identify customer needs and confidently overcome objections while maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach;
- Ensure full compliance with all dealership policies, procedures, lender requirements, and applicable processes, including the structuring and finalization of deals;
- Conduct thorough credit interviews, complete credit applications accurately, and submit applications to appropriate lenders;
- Negotiate deals with lenders as required, diligently working all available financing opportunities to secure approvals and favorable terms;
- Accurately book out vehicles and structure deals, ensuring all vehicle equipment and information are represented truthfully and accurately;
- Prepare all required delivery documentation and obtain confirmation of valid insurance coverage prior to delivery;
- Review all financing and delivery documentation with customers, clearly explaining each document and ensuring all required signatures are obtained;
- Collect, receipt, and accurately account for all monies due at the time of delivery;
- Separate, organize, and prepare all required documentation for submission to the bank for funding;
- Proactively monitor deal funding, follow up on outstanding items, and address lender stipulations promptly to ensure all requirements are satisfied and deals are funded accurately within established timelines;
- Immediately communicate any problem deals, funding concerns, or other issues to management;
- Close and organize deal dockets by completing all required internal forms and arranging documentation in accordance with established dealership and Administration Department procedures;
- Maintain accurate internal logs, including deal delivery status and all finance and insurance products sold;
- Maintain and update the F&I; provider’s log for every delivered deal, accurately recording products sold and the associated income generated;
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: OMVIC licence is required;
Automotive sales experience required;
The ability to work independently and as a part of a team;
You are self-motivated, confident, and customer-focused with strong organizational skills;
Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills;
Excellent listening skills;
Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm;
Possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License and valuable driving record;
Must have the ability to work evenings and Saturdays as scheduled;
Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission an asset.
