Mr. Lube + Tires 17th Ave is a locally owned and operated business looking to bring a motivated and experienced Red Seal Automotive Service Technician to support and lead high-quality vehicle service and repair operations in a modern, well-organized shop.

This role is suited for a licensed technician who values quality workmanship, customer trust, and consistency — without the pressure of a flat-rate environment.

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Service Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance, with experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional environment where technical expertise, quality workmanship, and customer service are highly valued. Candidates should possess solid mechanical knowledge and be proficient with hand tools, power tools, and automotive electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and mechanical repairs
- Complete scheduled maintenance and vehicle inspections
- Diagnose and repair braking, suspension, steering, and drivetrain systems
- Support quality control and maintain high service standards
- Provide clear and professional repair recommendations to customers
- Maintain accurate service and repair documentation




- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

- Red Seal Automotive Service Technician certification required
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with mechanical and electrical automotive systems
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of repairs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Own tools required
