Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical components, and more.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to execute repairs accurately and efficiently.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic codes to identify issues precisely.
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid replacements, and system tune-ups to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
- Operate heavy machinery and industrial equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or farm machinery when required for specific repair or maintenance projects.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure repairs meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed, parts used, and diagnostics conducted for each vehicle.

Skills

- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience demonstrating strong mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, or farm machinery is a plus.
- Experience working with Caterpillar or other industrial equipment preferred.
- Skilled in welding, electrical systems troubleshooting, and reading schematics.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment used in automotive and industrial maintenance.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts replacement.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems related to vehicle climate control is advantageous.
