Become a part of the City of Campbell River's dynamic Recreation & Culture Team as an Auxiliary Certified Instructor II - Early Childhood Educator Assistant. Support early learning initiatives and help create enriching experiences for children. This auxiliary, part-time role offers adaptable scheduling and involves assisting in the planning and delivery of early learning programs in accordance with BC Early Learning Framework standards.
Your leadership will ensure a safe and engaging environment for children, promoting their natural curiosity and development. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning of early childhood education activities
- Ensure safety and health guidelines are met
- Promote interactive and positive learning experiences
- Lead program delivery and early years’ initiatives
- Foster relationships with children and caregivers Requirements:
- Completed Grade 12 or equivalent
- Certified as Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA)
- One-year experience with children in an educational setting
- Emergency First Aid with Child CPR C certification
