Duties
- Prepare and assemble menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety
- Operate POS or similar point-of-sale systems to process transactions accurately and swiftly
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and give correct change using basic math skills
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas following food safety protocols
- Assist in food handling, storage,
and inventory management to ensure freshness and compliance with health regulations
- Support team members during busy periods by performing both cashiering and cooking duties as needed
Experience
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order accuracy, and upselling opportunities
