Role Description This full-time, on-site AZ Drivers Over the Road X-Border role is based in Aylmer, ON. The driver will operate commercial trucks on long-haul routes, including cross-border runs between Canada and the United States, ensuring safe and timely transport of goods.

Daily tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, following all traffic and safety regulations, and maintaining accurate logs and paperwork for cross-border compliance. The role involves communicating with dispatch, coordinating delivery schedules, and providing qualified customer service at pickup and delivery locations. The driver will also be responsible for basic vehicle care, reporting maintenance needs,



and adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong truck driving skills and experience operating commercial trucks on long-haul routes.
- Candidates should possess a valid CDL Class A (or equivalent AZ license) and a clean driving record suitable for cross-border operations.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills for interacting with dispatch, customers, and border officials.
- Candidates should possess customer service abilities to represent the company professionally at pickup and delivery locations.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of cross-border regulations, hours-of-service rules, and basic vehicle inspection procedures.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle extended periods on the road.
- Experience with over-the-road or X-Border trucking and familiarity with ELD/logging systems is beneficial.
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including lifting, climbing into/out of trucks, and working in varying weather conditions.
