Responsibilities

- Safely operate commercial trucks following all federal, state, and company regulations to deliver freight efficiently and securely
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with transportation laws
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep trucks in optimal condition
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse teams, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times,



including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of heavy machinery

Experience

- Valid AZ commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with freight transportation or similar logistics roles
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment used for loading and unloading cargo
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road or at the yard
- Familiarity with federal Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety standards related to commercial trucking
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy freight, climbing into trucks, and standing for extended periods
