Position Summary

We are looking for drivers who want a long-term job. MEDLOG Canada offers respectful working conditions and up-to-date equipment. We are looking for candidates wishing to work for local/regional transport for our GTA Location

Average hours per week between 50 and 60 hours of work.

No incorporated drivers

Qualifications and Competencies

All MEDLOG Canada employees are expected to exhibit the MSC Values, striving to drive customer centric results in all interactions with colleagues and customers alike.

· Experience on 3-axle trailers.

· Container experience is an added bonus.

· Knowledge of GTA and surrounding areas

· Able to perform the safety round correctly

· keep his truck clean and sweep his trailers when they are empty





· Knowledge of ISAAC would be appreciated

Responsibilities

- Operate Class 1 trucks to transport containers safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload freight, utilizing forklift skills as necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $26.00 per hour
