Nonna's Italian Street food is looking for experienced baker to join our busy & growing brand. We are an independently-owned business with 3 locations, and a rapid-paced catering program, focusing on serving our community with comfort Italian food in cozy settings and at modest prices.

PLEASE NOTE: This job position is open is for our HASTINGS Location.

Duties:

- The primary role for this position is to bake bread & pizza sheets for our outlets using established Nonna's recipes.
- In addition, applicants will be asked to produce other established Nonna's dishes, ensuring each dish is flavorful and visually appealing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Candidates must be well-versed in the different roles within the kitchen, and be able and willing to adapt to a dynamic environment, facilitating in multiple stations, including prepping, cold station, pans/grill, oven, and dishpit, as needed.

Experience & Requirements:

- 3-5 years experience in restaurants or hospitality setting required.
- An up-to-date Food Safety certification.




- Experience working with diverse cuisines or specialized dietary requirements is an asset
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as commercial ovens, grills, fryers, and knives
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently
- Candidates must show strong teamwork skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic, with the ability to step into any role the kitchen needs
- Must be available on weekends and lunches
- First Aid training is an asset
- Full-time applicants will receive priority onboarding.
