Join our vibrant bakery team as a Bakery Front End Person, where your enthusiasm and skills will help create an inviting atmosphere for our customers. This is the perfect position for a parent as it starts when the kids go to school and youre off to pick them up after school. Availability for occasional weekends would be ideal.

In this role, you will be the friendly face greeting guests, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring our bakery displays are beautiful and well-stocked. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute to delivering a memorable experience that keeps customers coming back for more. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills while providing exceptional customer service in a lively, quick-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their selections, providing friendly and knowledgeable service.
- Package baked items, bag bread, take orders and assist customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery display cases, shelves, and work areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling baked goods, prepping ingredients, dishes etc




- Ensure all food handling procedures are followed meticulously to uphold quality and safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking items, checking product freshness, and organizing supplies for easy access.
- Support the overall flow of the bakery by assisting behind the scenes with baking, food prep, and packaging as needed.

Experience

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service in a rapid-paced setting.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is essential.
- Kitchen experience involving food industry standards will help you excel in this role.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail during busy periods.
- Passion for baking, cooking, and creating visually appealing culinary products is highly valued.
