Duties

- Enforce game rules consistently and fairly to maintain a secure and enjoyable playing environment
- Make quick, accurate decisions on penalties, infractions, and game stoppages
- Communicate clearly with players, coaches, and officials to explain calls and ensure understanding
- Monitor player conduct to promote sportsmanship and resolve conflicts promptly
- Keep accurate track of game time, penalties, and scores throughout each match
- Assist in setting up equipment and preparing the rink for games and tournaments




- Report any incidents or safety concerns immediately to event coordinators or supervisors

Experience

- Previous experience officiating or playing ball hockey or similar fast-paced sports is preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of ball hockey rules, regulations, and gameplay dynamics
- Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with players, coaches, and spectators
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move swiftly around the rink during games
- A positive attitude with a passion for sportsmanship and community engagement
