Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Banquet Server to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service during events, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the smooth operation of banquet functions. Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is preferred, and familiarity with food safety standards is essential.

The Banquet

Server plays a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and ensuring event success.

Duties

- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner during banquets and events
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements and linens
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Clear tables promptly and efficiently, bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness throughout the event
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
- Replenish supplies such as silverware, glassware, and condiments during service
- Support catering staff with food handling, setup,



and breakdown of event spaces
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling and service standards

Requirements

- Previous experience in food industry roles such as catering, restaurant service, or hotel hospitality is highly desirable
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining professionalism
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or special event days as needed
- Experience with banquet service or large-scale catering is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads (up to 25 pounds) as required for setting tables or clearing dishes
