Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages
- Operate POS system to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions, give correct change, and manage cash handling responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and food handling to ensure quality standards are met for all menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food safety protocols and sanitation practices
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by greeting guests warmly and addressing their needs promptly




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality

Qualifications

- Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in food preparation and serving
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order processing, and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
