About Us: Café Miracle is a warm and welcoming neighbourhood café inspired by Mediterranean flavours, mindfulness, and creativity. We offer soulful snacks, quality coffee, and a space for community workshops and gatherings.

Position Summary: We’re looking for friendly, dependable part-time team members with strong barista skills — who can lead in coffee preparation while also supporting the kitchen and customer service areas. Responsibilities include espresso-based drink preparation, cash handling, and opening/closing duties. If you enjoy variety, community, and good food, you’ll feel at home here.

Key Responsibilities

Drink Preparation Make espresso-based and cold drinks using an espresso machine (barista experience is required) Brew tea and drip coffee Follow drink recipes for smoothies and seasonal specials

Kitchen & Food Prep Assemble and prepare baked goods, sandwiches, and breakfast items Thaw and reheat and bake frozen products as needed Maintain a clean and food-safe prep area

Cash & Customer Service Operate the POS system and handle payments Greet customers warmly and assist with orders Provide product guidance and respond to questions





Cleanliness & Organization Assist with opening and closing duties Clean surfaces, tools, tables, and floors regularly Support restocking, labeling, and inventory tasks Take out garbage and recycling to outdoor bins Clean windows, outdoor seating area, and restrooms as needed

Workshop & Event Support (as needed) Prepare and tidy the event area Offer refreshments and help guide guests

Requirements: BARISTA EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED! (Making espresso-based and cold drinks using an espresso machine!) Positive energy, willingness to learn, and strong attention to cleanliness Food Handler Certificate is an asset Experience in cafés or food service is required (References will be requested) Availability for early mornings and/or evenings Fluent in English; other languages are a bonus

Schedule: Part time Weekdays and weekends Shifts start as early as 6:30 AM and can go until 7:30 PM

Compensation: Minimum wage, with variation based on experience and availability (Tip sharing may be introduced over time, depending on team structure and café operations.)
