Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista Cashier to join our vibrant café team. This role combines exceptional customer service with food and beverage preparation, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in coffee and food service, possess strong POS skills, and demonstrate excellent time management.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items according to company standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process transactions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food safety and food handling protocols.
- Manage cash register operations, including cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing cash drawers.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.




- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Restock supplies and ensure the café environment is inviting and well-maintained.
- Follow health regulations related to serving food and beverages, maintaining a secure environment for staff and customers.

Skills

- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling, and basic food preparation techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for sales transactions, retail math, and cash handling accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
