Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with attention to quality and presentation
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and food handling with integrity and attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed




- Follow all food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff

Requirements

- Previous experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with serving and food preparation enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Experience with Micros POS or similar cash register systems is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail throughout shifts
