Part time BaristaThe Liminal Place Cafe The Liminal Place Cafe is looking for a passionate, part-time Barista to join our team!

We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves coffee, takes pride in their craft, and enjoys creating a great experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

This isn’t just a job for someone who can make a latte — we’re looking for someone who is excited about specialty coffee, learning, improving their skills, and being part of a team that cares deeply about what we do.

What You’ll Do

- Prepare high-quality espresso beverages, pour overs, and other specialty drinks
- Dial in espresso and maintain consistency throughout the day
- Steam milk and work toward excellent latte art
- Some baking and cooking tasks
- Provide warm, friendly and attentive customer service
- Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming café environment
- Follow recipes, quality standards and food-safety procedures
- Help with opening and closing duties
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the café team
- Continue learning about coffee, brewing and barista techniques
- Contribute to the culture and atmosphere that makes The Liminal Place unique

We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Loves coffee and is genuinely passionate about being a barista
- Has previous barista or specialty coffee experience is an asset not requirement




- Takes pride in making excellent drinks consistently
- Is interested in learning more about specialty coffee and SCA standards
- Has a strong attention to detail
- Is reliable, punctual and takes responsibility for their work
- Is friendly, personable and enjoys connecting with customers
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Can stay calm and organized during busy periods
- Is willing to work Daytime, evenings and weekends
- Brings a positive attitude and wants to contribute to a great team culture
- Required to stand long periods of time

The Details Position: Part - Time Barista (20 -30 hrs/week)

Availability: Evenings & Weekends required

Location: Grande Prairie, Alberta
