Job Summary

Bar Etc. is looking for a bartender to join our team! The ideal candidate would have prior experience with cocktail bars or a restaurant with a compelling cocktail program. Knowledge of classics, good work ethic and a sense of urgency are essential as we run with a lean team. As long as these essentials are prioritized, we like to have fun at work. There are a lot of learning opportunities when it comes to bar prep and modern techniques.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS.

- Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and food handling standards.

- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving and prevent over-serving, adhering to all alcohol service regulations.

- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and utensils promptly to ensure smooth operations during busy hours.





- Collaborate with team members in the restaurant or food industry environment to deliver seamless service from order taking to serving food and beverages.

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong customer service skills.

- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS for order processing and cashiering functions.

- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.

- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts.

- Robust communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.

- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and tip calculations.

- Experience in hospitality or food industry roles that demonstrate adaptability, teamwork, and professionalism.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
