Smart Serve Certification and Safe Food Handling preferred or would be willing to attain prior to starting

Previous experience working a busy bar is an asset

Excellent customer service, cheerful smiling faces and work as part of a team

Assist/direct members in situations if they are in need of help

Must be able to lift up to 20lbs for changing kegs

Sell beverages according to the orders and upsell where you can

Promote new products

Check stock levels and make notes for ordering

Keep the bar area de-cluttered and clean

Handle cash and debit-m/c transactions

Count the float and maintain accuracy throughout the shift

Cash out at the end of the shift and provide transparent explanations if anything is a miss For all events read the detailed event sheet

Check in with the organizers of events prior to events starting





Help with set up if required and offer assistance if issues arise

Become familiar with all of the in-house technical equipment

Clean as you go

All and any other tasks as set out by your supervisor/manager

Open up the bar according to the opening procedure

Close up the bar according to the closing procedures

Job Types: Permanent, Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
